Who is The Giant Ginger?
Hello, I'm Brian M. Scruggs (aka: The Giant Ginger). Currently I am an Associate Professor of Design for the theatre area at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. In my free time I'm also a freelance theatre artist/consultant specializing in lighting design. I have worked extensively in the southeastern Michigan region at places like The Williamston Theatre, Tipping Point Theatre, The Michigan Shakespeare Festival just to name a few. Recently, I've expanded down into the Bluegrass doing some freelance work at Centre College prior to my hiring. I've also had the privilege of working at the Pioneer Playhouse, directing the show, Not From Around Here, that I co-wrote with Dr. Jennifer Goff, for their 76th season!
